The financial difficulties the studio was in became more than a little obvious in this entry. I can't help but wonder how much new film actually got made for this movie, as so much of it seems to be spliced in from all the previous ones.

It has so much re-used footage and none of the new stuff is monster related. Still, the "greatest hits" of fights mixed with space ships and superheroes is kind of fun, so I didn't hate it as much as I remembered. It's still the worst Showa film.

She wandered off to do some other stuff, but she did hear the random Yamato cameo, which she thought was delightful.
