The series is very well made and it's delivery is top notch! But the series gets progressively dark and uncomfortable as it reaches its climax. While I certainly think it's worth viewing once, I wouldn't recommend very many repeats.

It was captivating, but the story is more concerned with psychological drama and symbolism than kaiju, so it's not something I'll return to much. That said, the world and visuals are striking, and I can totally respect its status as a classic.
